The Toughbook 30 is specifically built to provide you with the best in portability and durability. It's Intel® Core^TM 2 Duo Processor with vPro^TM technology running Windows XP Professional with an Vista^TM Business option, 160GB hard drive, and 2GB of RAM give you the power and storage you need. If that's still not enough, RAM can be upgraded the 4GB, there's an optional 32GB solid-state hard drive. Ports for a PC card, an SD card, an ExpressCard, a FireWire port, and 3 USB ports. This Toughbook is fully rugged, with a full magnesium alloy case with handle, a shock-mounted, quick-release, heated hard drive that's approved for a drop of up to 3 feet, and a sealed, all weather design. It's also rain, spill, dust, and vibration resistant, and it's MIL-STD-810F and IP54 compliant. It also offers excellent security, with password security, a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) security chip v1.2, Computrace® theft protection agent in BIOS, and optional fingerprint and smartcard readers. Special locks for the hard drive and battery are also available.

The CF30 is also very portable. It sports a 13.3" 1000 nit sunlight viewable LCD with Touchscreen, Draft-N WiFi, and optional Gobi^TM global mobile internet (WWAN) for Verizon, Sprint and AT&T. It has a battery life of up to 10 hours (with XP), or 14 hours with an optional second battery pack. There's also a choice between Combo drive, DVD Super MULTI drive, or a second battery in the media bay. You can also get integrated GPS and a backlit rubber or emissive keyboard. All while being protected by a 3 year warranty extendable to 5 years or an optional No Fault Protection Plus warranty ranging from 3 to 5 years.
